Dear Reader,

Today, Big Pharma executives are testifying in front of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) to answer the burning question on everyone's mind: "Why Does the United States Pay, by Far, the Highest Prices in the World for Prescription Drugs?"

Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Bristol Myers Squibb are sending their CEOs to Capitol Hill today where we can expect them to push their self-serving scheme to redirect focus toward others, and encourage Congress to use the heavy hand of government to take away pharmacy benefits — increasing costs for consumers, businesses and taxpayers, and handing Big Pharma a massive bailout. We're calling on conservatives to reject the Big Pharma-Big Government scheme targeting pharmacy benefits that would undermine free market forces, competition and freedom in health care, increase prescription drug costs, and bailout Big Pharma.

Many conservative leaders have already seen through Big Pharma's blame game and rejected their scheme – putting their constituents first.

During a recent House Committee On Oversight and Accountability hearing, Representative Eric Burlison (R-MO-07) highlighted Big Pharma's attempt to push blame on the PBM industry in a desperate attempt to avoid accountability.

"The buying power of a PBM is one of the only remaining checks on drug companies' unlimited pricing power. It's why you're seeing all the ads that are being paid for by Pharma targeting PBMs is supporting [the DRUG Act]. I'd suggest that if we're looking for solutions to combat skyrocketing drug costs that we take a look at what our drug manufacturers are doing."

In September, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) warned fellow Republicans of the Big Pharma-Big Government scheme.

"We've paid Big Pharma enough money for COVID vaccines. Republicans should be focused on cutting spending, especially with the DOJ's weaponization against President Trump, and launching an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden's corruption. We don't have time to push Big Pharma and Dr. Fauci's priorities."

We're urging conservative leaders on Capitol Hill to expose Big Pharma during today's hearing and reject Big Pharma's scheme targeting pharmacy benefits that would take away freedoms from American businesses, increase drug costs for the American people, and give Big Pharma a massive bailout.
