WATCH Bishop Barron introducing the next volume of the Word on Fire Bible
Dear Friend,
I have some really exciting news to share with you. We are currently in production on the fifth volume of the Word on Fire Bible. We are now more than halfway through what will eventually be a seven-volume presentation of the Bible.
Volume V is called Exile and Return, and it picks up where Volume IV left off, featuring more of the historical books of the Bible, including 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Tobit, Judith, Esther, and 1 and 2 Maccabees. If you are not familiar with some of those texts, the Word on Fire Bible makes it easy to dive deeper.
|  | As you read, the Bible passages are surrounded and enriched by commentary from various saints, scholars, and theologians, and from me. There is also beautifully rendered sacred art and word studies to explain the original meaning behind some of the Bible's best-known verses.
I truly believe this Bible project will be one of Word on Fire's greatest legacies to the Church, and we simply could not have gotten this far without the generous support of so many of you.
