Prayers and bountiful blessings on this Thanksgiving holiday

St. Paul asks this question to the people of Corinth and to us: "What do you have that you did not receive?" (1 Cor. 4:7). Everything that we have is a gift, and so the life of a Christian is a life of gratitude, thankfulness, and appreciation for all that God has given us.
Thanksgiving serves as an annual reminder of this call to be grateful. Moreover, since we have received God's love and grace freely, we are then called to give it away freely to others. Let's keep this idea at the forefront as we gather with family and friends this holiday.
