At The New Ressourcement Conference, Bishop Barron called the theologians and philosophers present to a renewal of Catholic thought by returning to the sources of the Catholic faith in light of the new circumstances of the twenty-first century.
Bishop Barron has long been a proponent of ressourcement theology, and much of Word on Fire's work reflects this influence.
One example of this influence is the Word on Fire Bible, which draws from a wide range of thinkers from the 2,000-year tradition of the Church to lead the reader to a deeper discovery of the wisdom and beauty of Scripture.
