Our friends at Hallow have their annual Pray40 Lenten Prayer Challenge starting on Ash Wednesday. This year's challenge is focused on John 14:6, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life," alongside the profound writings of St. Josemaría Escrivá from The Way. Our friend Jonathan Roumie will be guiding this challenge alongside Sr. Miriam James Heidland, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Mark Wahlberg, actor Chris Pratt, and more.

"If our desire for holiness is sincere, if we are docile enough to place ourselves in God's hands, everything will go well. For He is always ready to give us his grace, especially at a time like thisgrace for a new conversion, a step forward in our lives as Christians. We cannot regard this Lent as just another liturgical season which has simply happened to come around again… Jesus is passing by and He hopes that we will take a great step forwardtoday, now."

—St. Josemaría Escrivá

Drawing on the writings of St. Josemaría Escrivá, author of The Way, we'll follow Jesus into deeper holiness, humility, and union with God this Lent. We'll hear Escrivá's powerful advice and spiritual direction brought to life through the story of Servant of God Takashi Nagai, a Japanese Catholic convert who miraculously survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki in 1945. In a moment, he lost everything, but through it, he surrendered himself and his city to the Lord. As we meditate on the lives of those who follow Christ, we'll see that despite the noise and distraction of today, Jesus died on the cross so that we might know His love and, ultimately, eternal life. We need only to follow His Way.

Make this the most powerful Lent of your life by joining Hallow's Pray40 challenge today.
