As we turn the page on another year, one of the strongest feelings in my heart is a sense of gratitude for you and everyone who supports The Epoch Times. I know that many of you send us wonderful notes to thank us, but it is truly the other way around: we owe everything to you.
This past year, you've helped us unravel some of today's biggest stories, including our investigations into the real story of Jan. 6, the fallout from COVID-19, rising U.S.–China tensions, the crisis on the border, accusations against both Donald Trump and Hunter Biden, the Israel–Hamas war, the continuing economic downturn, and more.
It is your discernment for the truth and your faith in it that gives the facts a presence, a voice, and a beating heart. It is your willingness to defend the truth that has helped us create a space in the public discourse and strengthened our right to a free press—and for that, we sincerely thank you.
Moving into the new year together, we'll continue to expand our outreach programs, including to younger Americans, so that more people can get a hold of the facts. We'll continue to deepen our investigative coverage in key areas like health, election security, and communist subversion. And as always, we'll continue to give voice to traditional values and positive news in this respect, because there's really a lot of good going on that's flying under the radar of corporate media.
We're excited to show you all the great things we have planned for 2024, and can't wait to start another year with you by our side. But before that, I genuinely hope that you and your family can enjoy a short reprieve from a very eventful 2023.
Here's to a peaceful, joyous, and warm Christmas season for you and yours, and a New Year filled with the truth, grace, and hope that our world so desperately needs.
Yours in Truth and Tradition,
Jasper Fakkert
