Dear Friend, Today, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. Teresa of Kolkata. Mother Teresa was a missionary and nun who devoted her life to helping those most in need. In 1950, she founded the Missionaries of Charity order in India.  For over forty-five years, Mother Teresa ministered to the poor, sick, orphaned, and dying. In April of this year, Word on Fire developed the Works of Mercy Fund, an initiative raising money to help evangelize those on the margins.
