Dear Friend,

Today, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. Teresa of Kolkata. Mother Teresa was a missionary and nun who devoted her life to helping those most in need. In 1950, she founded the Missionaries of Charity order in India.

For over forty-five years, Mother Teresa ministered to the poor, sick, orphaned, and dying. In April of this year, Word on Fire developed the Works of Mercy Fund, an initiative raising money to help evangelize those on the margins. If you wish to help us evangelize the poor and marginalized—the people to whom Mother Teresa committed herself wholeheartedly—consider making a gift to the Works of Mercy Fund today.

SUPPORT THE WORKS OF MERCY FUND

Inspired by the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy, the Works of Mercy Fund allows donors like you to help us share books, videos, and other evangelical materials with those in need in the United States and overseas. Since the program started, we've been able to send our resources for free to prisons, hospital chaplains, religious communities, the military, and many impoverished parishes on the margins.

Support our mission this feast day of St. Teresa of Kolkata and help us touch the lives of those who most need to hear the message of God's love and mercy.

God bless you,

The Word on Fire Team
