[Watch] Looking Ahead to 2025

Happy New Year and blessings to you on this Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God. The start of a new year is always an exciting time for renewal and growth, but 2025 is going to be a particularly special year for both Word on Fire and the Catholic Church at large.
2025 marks twenty-five years since the inception of Word on Fire, and throughout the year, we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary with a look back at where we came from, a host of new content and books, and the reveal of an exciting roadmap for the future.
|  | The other exciting aspect of 2025 is that it is a jubilee year for the Catholic Church. Celebrated every twenty-five years, a jubilee is a unique opportunity for the global Church to experience pilgrimage, prayer, repentance, and mercy. The 2025 Jubilee Year has the theme "Pilgrims of Hope," and that is a beautiful thought to reflect on as we enter the new year.
In an increasingly secular and cynical culture, how can you shine the light of Christ as a beacon of hope in your own life and the lives of those around you? I invite you to start the new year in prayer for all those who need an increase in hope—perhaps by offering a Holy Hour or praying a Rosary for that intention.
