Dear Neighbor, As wildfires continue to burn across our state, our thoughts continue to be with all those impacted, and we continue to keep our neighbors and the first responders and firefighters bravely battling the flames in our prayers. Our deepest condolences also go out to the community member who tragically lost their life in the Stone Canyon Fire. Multiple times this week, including this morning, I've had the opportunity to visit the evacuation center in Loveland, and every time I've been beyond moved by the generosity of all those helping our neighbors — as we are reminded, again and again, how kind and resilient our community truly is. To those of you who remain on the frontlines of these fires, either having been evacuated from your homes and businesses or reeling with the devastation caused, please know our team is available to support you. Do not hesitate to reach out. We are immensely grateful to our brave wildland firefighters, firefighters, first responders, local law enforcement officials, and volunteers who are working around the clock to protect our communities, and will continue to work to ensure these folks have the full support of the Federal Government. As for our team, earlier this week I was proud to announce that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) swiftly authorized federal funding to help fight the Alexander Mountain Fire burning in Larimer County and the Stone Canyon Fire burning in Boulder County. I'm also continuing to work with the agency to unlock further support for the ongoing fire response efforts, and led an effort yesterday to implore the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) to provide additional support by mobilizing more wildland firefighting crews and providing more aerial resources.

We also stopped by the American Red Cross center in Loveland to drop off some food and supplies for the evacuees.
Earlier this week I also joined Governor Jared Polis for a briefing on the fires with local law enforcement and the U.S. Forest Service. Watch a news conference we held after this briefing HERE.
Earlier today, I had the opportunity to deliver meals to the folks at the Larimer County Emergency Operations Center and firefighters in Loveland — we are truly in their debt. And rest assured, we remain in close contact with law enforcement and fire officials in both counties, as well as with our Federal partners. | Pictured (Above): Congressman Joe Neguse and Governor Jared Polis meet with the Forest Service wildland firefighters. | Pictured (Above): Congressman Joe Neguse visits the Lyons Fire Protection District. | Pictured (Above): Congressman Joe Neguse speaks at a press conference with Colorado leaders at the Loveland Fire Station 7. | As our brave firefighters and fire responders work to contain the flames and protect our communities, here are some resources that may prove helpful in the event that your home, family, or business has been impacted. Our office has also prepared a Wildfire Resource Guide with tips, local resources, contacts for emergency assistance, how we can help, and more. View the guide HERE. | Pictured: Congressman Joe Neguse and Governor Jared Polis head for a tour and briefing on the Alexander Mountain Fire. | Last week, I was proud to host a Right to Repair roundtable in Longmont with farmers and stakeholders, Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan, Senator John Hickenlooper, and local leaders.
For countless farmers, the Right to Repair is a matter of livelihood. Manufacturers' delays on agriculture equipment can mean the difference between a farmer harvesting or not. This also deeply impacts food security and access for our local communities.
In Congress, I am proud to co-lead legislation establishing a national Right to Repair law for agricultural equipment and I will continue to push for proposals that protect our local farmers. | Pictured: Local farmers listen in to Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan. | Pictured (Left to Right): U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper, FTC Chair Lina Khan, and Assistant Leader Joe Neguse. | Should you need any assistance from our office, please do not hesitate to reach out. Please stay safe, stay healthy, and stay hopeful! Sincerely, | | | | Joe Neguse Member of Congress | | | |
