Dear Neighbor, In the past twenty-four hours, the Trump administration has regrettably taken a series of actions that will damage our economy for years to come. The President's reckless tariff policies have caused the stock market to plummet, and his actions threaten to devastate farmers and ranchers in our district, our aerospace and innovation workforce in Fort Collins, Longmont, and Boulder, and countless families across Colorado. Please know that our office will do everything we can to assist during this tumultuous time, and are working to oppose and reverse these dangerous policies. Before leaving Washington for the week, I'm proud to report that I had the opportunity to hold my colleagues across the aisle accountable for their attacks on the U.S. judiciary. As an attorney, and an impeachment prosecutor during President Trump's second impeachment trial, my reverence for the Constitution and rule of law is bone-deep. Earlier this week, I worked to expose efforts by my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to lay the groundwork for President Trump to continue issuing unlawful and harmful executive orders. Let's be clear: Republicans' attacks against the Federal judiciary are wrong and must be rejected — full stop. Watch my remarks during Tuesday's Judiciary Committee hearing HERE and below.

Watch my remarks during Tuesday's Judiciary Committee hearing HERE and below. | I had an incredible time hosting a packed town hall in Summit County and a massive town hall with over 1,000 people in Boulder County with special guest Senator Michael Bennet! These also marked the 99th and 100th town halls I've hosted during my time serving as your representative in Congress. You can view highlights from both events HERE. From the Western Slope to the Front Range, engaging with constituents directly is one of the most important parts of my job, which is why we've made holding regular town halls across the 2nd District a top priority. Again, I'm deeply grateful to everyone who made their way to these town halls, and I continue to be inspired by countless citizens speaking out and engaging in our democracy. | ICYMI! Last week, House Republican leadership wasted time debating three bills that do absolutely nothing to help solve the issues the American people are facing. Instead, what are they working on? Efforts to regulate commercial and walk-in refrigerators. And a bill to give an agency they are trying to destroy, the Department of Education, new responsibilities. Seriously! | Watch my speech calling out these misplaced priorities HERE and my line of questioning in the House Rules Committee HERE. | - SUBMISSIONS FOR THE CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION ARE DUE TODAY!
